The KGOP will be collecting supplies for the Tornado Victims at our office (check office hours kgop.org – which we will weekly send to one of the collection centers) Personal Hygiene items are desperately needed and that is what we will be collecting for our community.
Please donate clothing directly to Good Will or Salvation Army or donate food directly to Loaves & Fishes.
Below is list of items needed:
- Gift Cards (Meijer or Walmart)
- First Aid Supplies (kits, Band-Aids, PPE [gloves, masks], hand sanitizer, hydrogen peroxide, rubbing alcohol, antibiotic cream etc…)
- Baby/Infant and new/expecting Mother materials (diapers, baby wipes, other baby essentials, formula, lactation supplies, children’s bath materials etc…)
- Paper Products (toilet paper, paper towels, body wipes, flush-able wipes etc…)
- Repackaging/moving materials (grocery bags, packing tape, bubble wrap, boxes, tubs etc…)
- Hygiene items (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, Black hair care products, tooth paste, tooth brushes, floss, razors, deodorant, combs, brushes, Q-tips, soap, hygiene packs, family planning, adult diapers etc…)
- Cleaning Supplies (Clorox, disinfectant wipes cleaning solutions, garbage bags, laundry detergent, dish soap, buckets, mops, brooms, dust pans, cleaning rags etc…)
- Household Items (batteries, flashlights…)
- Pet Supplies (pet food, cat litter, puppy pads, bowls, leashes etc…)
- Recovery & Building Supplies (work gloves, goggles, face shields, tarps, plywood, construction supplies, tools etc…)
- Bulk Water
***According to Fox 17, the most needed items at this time are pet supplies, especially cat food and cat litter***
