Left wing extremist, Joseph Alfonso, is running on the Democrat ticket for congress once again according to his social media. Alfonso will be running in the 4th district, that seat is currently held by R-Bill Huizenga. In 2022 Congressman Huizenga beat Alfonso single handedly by 18%.
The voters of the 4th district saw how extreme Alfonso’s stances on policy were, that many (14%) decided to cross over party lines and vote for Bill Huizenga. Some voters in the district have said that Alfonso is too extreme to represent West Michigan in Congress.
Since declaring that he was running for congress once again, Alfonso has been busy on social media in support of biological males beating up on women in athletics. Alfonso also supports relaxed immigration laws, and non enforcement of the immigration laws that exist on the books. Those types of policies have been a contributing factor to the fentanyl crisis responsible for over 100,000 American deaths last year.
Just a few weeks ago throughout Kalamazoo the fentanyl crisis was on full display, as 7 people were killed, and many more hospitalized from an overdose. See Here. Unfortunately “Alfonso For Congress” was silent on the issue.
Congressman Bill Huizenga took an active approach and has demanded sanctions against Chinese companies that are involved in fentanyl production and distribution. See Here. He has also called for more border security to stop the flow of fentanyl.
Joseph Alfonso is too extreme for West Michigan.
