We are at risk of losing everything we’ve worked so hard to achieve. We are about to lose the midterm elections handing over the government, both the state and federal government, back to the democrats.
Not because of you, right? You’re a conservative Republican. You reliably turn out and vote in every election. You might even help your favorite candidate and go door knocking a few weeks before the election. You volunteer on election day and hand out voter information.
That’s good. In years past, that would have been enough. Go out and do your civic duty by voting. That’s a passing grade: B-
But I will tell you right now, that’s not good enough this year. That’s a failing effort, when you compare it to what the democrats are planning. The far-left liberals are angry and they are motivated. Don’t believe me? Just look at the newly elected New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani. Virginia just elected Abigail Spanberger to be their new Governor, instead of Lt. Gov. Winsome Earle-Sears. And of all places, reliably Red Texas, just voted in a democrat to its state legislature, in a district that President Trump won by 17 percentage points. https://www.nytimes.com/2026/02/01/us/democratic-upset-texas-district-republicans.html?campaign_id=9&emc=edit_nn_20260201&instance_id=170434&nl=the-morning®i_id=226131146&segment_id=214618&user_id=c1c1b1cccfed6873ab8d932c25980660
Alarm bells should be going off in your head! We can’t afford to lose control of the House. That would mean an end to President Trump’s progress on immigration, the border, election integrity, the economy and keeping men out of women’s locker rooms, not to mention the absurd start of article after article of impeachment against the President and his entire cabinet.
We can’t afford to lose the Senate. Michigan already made the Upper Chamber too close for comfort by sending Elissa Slotkin to Washington, only to have her turn around and give seditious orders to the military, telling them to ignore their Commander-in-Chief.
Here in Michigan, we cannot afford another minute of a democrat Governor, Secretary of State or Attorney General. We have the House in Lansing, but are we at risk of losing it? Do we have any hope of flipping the State Senate Red?
We have nine months until the midterm elections and we need all hands on deck! We cannot afford to have anyone sit this one out. If you know someone who only votes in Presidential elections, someone who believes their one vote doesn’t matter, there are ways to get these friends and neighbors to the polls. 10 X votes and swamp the vote both offer tools and advice for you on how to get those low propensity voters to cast a ballot. https://www.10xvotes.com/

If you tend to only vote in big state and national elections, sign up for the permanent absentee ballot list at your local clerk’s office. That way you will automatically receive a ballot in the mail for every election for which you are eligible. Those small school millages that only seem to happen in May … there’s a reason for that. The folks pushing higher taxes, bond proposals and millage increases know that very few voters turn out for these single-issue ballot proposals.
Once you get that absentee ballot, look it over and do your research. Having a ballot in hand, a month before the election gives you time to look up proposals, and little-known candidates for school board and college regents.
Once you have your ballot filled out, take it directly back to your clerk’s office. Never mail it in! Don’t wait for election day. Voting early matters. Do the math. https://thehill.com/opinion/campaign/4970559-voting-mail-difference-impact/
If you insist on voting on election day, know that you can take your completed absentee ballot to your polling place and feed your ballot directly into the tabulator. The important thing is to vote and to get your conservative relatives, friends and neighbors to vote as well.
2026 is too important.
