The Republican Party of Kalamazoo County will hold its county convention to select a new Executive Committee for the coming term, which runs from Dec. 1, 2018 to Nov. 30, 2020. The convention will be held on Thursday, Nov. 15, 2018, at 7 p.m. at the WMU Fetzer Center (2251 Business Ct., Kalamazoo, MI 49008-5239.

The purpose of this meeting shall be to elect nineteen (19) of delegate-elected members of the 2018 – 2020 Republican Party of Kalamazoo County Executive Committee. The official Call to the Convention may be found here.

PLEASE NOTE!!! ONLY Precinct Delegates duly-elected at the Aug. 6, 2018 Primary Election and the Republican nominees for State Legislative and County office shall be allowed to vote on matters as may properly come before the County Convention (in addition to Republican incumbent members of the State Legislature and the Michigan Congressional delegation, Statewide Officeholders, the Republican National Committeeman and National Committeewoman from Michigan, and Michigan Republican Party officers where such person resides). 

The Kalamazoo GOP is accepting applications for nineteen (19) positions as delegate-elected members of the Kalamazoo GOP Executive Committee.  Anyone who is a registered voter in Kalamazoo and is a paid member of the Kalamazoo GOP is eligible to apply.  Applicants may join or renew their membership at the time of application. Anyone who desires to verify their membership status may do so by email.  Membership can be paid for online by clicking here.  The application deadline is Nov. 14, 2018.

Those interested in nomination for the executive committee may complete the application form found here and return it by email to, by mail at P.O. Box 1502, Portage, MI 49081 or it can be turned at the KGOP office, 1911 W. Centre Ave., Ste. A, in Portage. The deadline for the application is 5 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 15, 2018.
