This is an open letter to Michigan\u2019s U.S. Senator Elissa Slotkin. You\u2019ve dedicated your career to serving this country. You were a CIA analyst who served three tours in Iraq, alongside the U.S. military. https:\/\/www.slotkin.senate.gov\/about\/<\/a>
You now serve on the Armed Services and the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committees. https:\/\/www.hsgac.senate.gov\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n


So please tell us how you can, in good conscience, back a dangerous man like Abdul El-Sayed for U.S. Senate? The old saying, \u201cYou\u2019re judged by the company you keep\u201d is hitting frighteningly close to home. His birth mother worked for a designated terror organization. https:\/\/thenationaldesk.com\/news\/americas-news-now\/abdul-el-sayeds-birth-mother-worked-for-designated-terror-group-iara-report-cair<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

El-Sayed has been campaigning and fundraising with extremist Hasan Piker, a man who said, \u201cAmerica deserved 9\/11.” Even the New York Times is getting worried. https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2026\/09\/17\/us\/politics\/el-sayed-piker-terrorism-comments.html<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n


You even told a gathering of the Midland County Democrats last month, “let me tell you there are plenty of things that I don’t agree with Abdul on,\u201d https:\/\/www.npr.org\/2026\/09\/03\/nx-s1-5946840\/abdul-el-sayed-michigan-senate-race<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n


Senator Slotkin, what are you not telling the country? What have you been learning about El-Sayed in your top-secret National Security briefings? If you truly believed in Abdul, you and Senator Gary Peters would have already endorsed him by now. But neither one of you has, and we believe it\u2019s because you both know just how dangerous and radical El-Sayed is. You know, if he won Peters\u2019 Senate seat, our national security would be compromised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


This Senate race is bigger than party loyalty. You\u2019ve worked in national security roles at the Pentagon and White House under both Republican and Democrat Presidents George W. Bush and Barak Obama. You know what\u2019s at stake here.
Do the right thing Senator Slotkin. Denounce El-Sayed as too dangerous for Michigan, too dangerous for this country and endorse Mike Rogers for U.S. Senate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
